The Benefits of coaching
Coaching is a powerful and collaborative relationship between coach and client.
Coaching is about getting increased clarity on specific issues that the client chooses.
It is also about developing a supportive relationship with the client. This relationship is built on total confidentiality and trust. It is an ongoing partnership, enabling the client achieve fulfilling results. Throughout the process, the client will deepen their learning, improve their ability to manage and thereby enhance their quality of life. |
 |
A core part of coaching is helping the client to raise their own self-awareness. During the coaching process, the client becomes aware of how they behave and what’s important to them and this may be something that they have never challenged before. It also encourages the client to take ownership of what is going on in their life.

My Retirement Coaching Mission Statement
I bring to my coaching my personal experience of transition and a strong commitment to assisting clients to resolve issues and achieve success, whatever ‘success’ may mean for them. The whole concept of retirement is radically changing and is being thought of a renewal – a rejuvenation - called the ‘New Retirement’. Coaching clients in the New Retirement involves a deepened interest in life, a heightened sense of one’s own authentic self and a new passion for discovery not felt since youth. I work with clients who are planning for the New Retirement and want to make the transition into retirement with confidence, focus, motivation and a sense of well-being .
